The Arizona Science Bowl is the most unique and exciting STEM competition there is! The competition consists of school teams from throughout the state. The teams are four students, one alternate, and a teacher who serves as a coach. Together, they face-off in fast-paced question and answer rounds and tested on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. This is a regional event of the National Science Bowl and is facilitated nationwide by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science.
The competition is open to teams from throughout the State of Arizona. Interested teams must pre-register starting Monday, October 3, 2016 to compete. Winners of this regional Science Bowl will advance to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C.
The Arizona Science Bowl events are presented by the Arizona Technology Council Foundation. Hosted at ASU West in partnership with the ASU New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences and the School of Mathematical and Natural Science.
