2021 Arizona Science Bowl Information

The Arizona Science Bowl is the most unique and exciting STEM competition there is! The competition consists of school teams from throughout the state. The teams are three to five students and a teacher who serves as a coach. Together, they face-off in fast-paced question and answer rounds and tested on a range of science disciplines.

The high school question categories are: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Energy, Mathematics, and Physics.

The middle school question categories are: Life Science, Physical Science, Earth and Space Science, Energy, Mathematics, and General Science.

Winners of this regional Science Bowl will advance to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C.

Who Can Compete

  • The competition is open to teams from throughout the State of Arizona or Nevada.
  • Must be school-based teams of 3-5 students and a coach. No club teams may participate. Home school teams may participate under certain circumstances. See the Official Rules for details.
  • Registration is free!
